1. Let's learn about QR Code
QR is an acronym for Quick Response (roughly translated “Quick Response Code”). This is a matrix of barcodes that can be read by a barcode reader or a smartphone (smartphone) with a photo function with a specialized application for scanning barcodes.
The QR code consists of black modules arranged randomly in a square with a white background. This combination of modules encodes any online data including: links to websites, images, information, product details, advertisements for products, etc.
The difference between QR codes and traditional barcodes is the amount of data they hold or share. Traditional barcodes have one-way long straight lines and can hold only 20 digits, while two-dimensional QR codes can store thousands of alphanumeric characters. QR codes hold more information and their ease of use will greatly benefit users in all fields.
QR Code was developed to be readable faster, saving time and space compared to traditional barcodes. For smartphones, you can search on the iTunes app store or Android Market for the keyword "QR scanner" to download the QR Code scanning application. The following applications can be downloaded:
- NeoReader, ScanLife, Barcode, i-nigma, TapMedia QR Reader for iPhone cho iPhone.
- ShopSavvy, Barcode scanner, ScanLife, Qr Droid cho Android.
